If Max/MSP is not installed, the performance patch can be executed on the Runtime version of Max/MSP available from www.cycling74.com.
Amplification of the alto and bass flutes is optional but recommended especially in
larger concert halls and performance spaces. The use of a headset microphone
(near lip plate) and air microphone (at the foot of the flutes) reinforces the sound
of the lower flutes including extended techniques such as tongue rams.
